The father of a boy studying at vidya vidya Valley School in Maharashtra’s Pune District has alleged that his son was denied admission to class. Different Payment Options for those who studying under the right to education (RTE) Quota compared to others.

Vinod Said atharva has lost interest in his studies because he was denied admission. “He scored 80 per cent in the final exams of class 8,” his father said.

Vinod claimed this is not an isolatted incidence. He alleged that of the 30 rte students in class 8 at the end of the last academic year, only three promoted to class 9, while the rest was transferred to differnt schools.
He also alleged Discriminatory Treatment. “In the last decade or so, there have been instances where students from participants backward communities who are finanically strained backgrounds
“But we had no choice, as this is the only school with the icse board in our locality.”
The right to education (RTE) Act Mandals Free and Compulsory Education for Children Between 6 to 14 years of age, covering classes up to class 8. Economically Weaker Sections and Disadvantaged Groups, with no fees charged up to class 8.

However, the act didn’t extend free education beyond class 8, and parents have to manage the fees for high classes.
‘Only to Gain Fame and Political Mileage’
