On Saturday, team India lifted the T20 World Cup trophy beating South Africa by seven runs. Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Kajol, Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, Kamal Haasan, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Abhishek Bachchan, among others praised India for the World Cup win.

While Salman congratulated Team India on X, actor Randeep Hooda wrote, “Hardik Pandya !! From the land of batsmen comes a bowling squad that wins it!! Bumrah is God of swing & Arshdeep & Axar (batsmen too). Kohli the bat & Rohit the revenge. My heart goes to SA too, so close and so far too many times. Thank you Rahul Dravid.”

Sharing her happiness and pride, Kajol wrote, “I’m still screaming and can’t get the smile off my face…. So happy and so proud! So many heroes who performed at this match… truly a team effort!” Chandu Champion star Kartik Aaryan also shared, “Team India, who refused to surrender अज वर्ड चप नहीन, दिल जीत लिया हेमी के लिये, (You haven’t just won the world cup but also our hearts for a lifetime) TEAM INDIA, Historic WIN.”

Sunny Deol tweeted, “Congratulations my Team India, aapne Dil, Cup aur khushiyan sab Jeet li aaj. Take a bow!” Kamala Haasan also penned a sweet note praising team India. He wrote on X, “The wait is over! A victory for the ages! When the going got tough, the Men in Blue showed what they are made of! King Kohli’s anchoring innings, every ball delivered from the magical hands of Jasprit Bumrah, and Surya Kumar’s catch will go down as cricketing legend! and Hitman Rohit Sharma’s Captaincy!
