A man used his phone to take a photo under a shopper’s skirt at a North Carolina supermarket, deputies said.

Patrick Clark is accused of taking the picture at a Food Lion grocery store in Stedman. Now, after his arrest, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is urging other potential victims to come forward.

“During the investigation, it was reported Clark had potentially committed similar acts in the past,” deputies wrote June 5 on Facebook.

The sheriff’s office didn’t list attorney information for Clark in its social media post. After reaching out to Food Lion for comment, a spokesperson told McClatchy News in an email that the supermarket chain was directing questions about the active investigation to law enforcement officials.

Deputies started a secret peeping investigation after receiving a report on May 29.

“The victim, a female, was shopping in the grocery store when a male subject, Patrick Clark, approached her from behind and used his cellphone to take a picture under her skirt,” the sheriff’s office wrote.

Clark, a Fayetteville resident, was “charged with felony secret peeping” and was given a US$5,000 (RM23,477) bond. His next court date is scheduled for June 20, according to deputies and online court records.
